On Sunday, March 15, 2026, the Delaware Valley Bird Dog Club held its fourth trial. This trial was run in several locations through State Game Lands 280.
Handlers and dogs performed in sunny skies, but with heavy winds and temperatures between 40 and 50 degrees.
Throughout the day, five woodcock were moved on nine braces. All dogs, along with their handlers, completed their braces until the judges' call of stoppage due to time.
We want to thank all those who came and participated in this trial and assisted with the foundation of the trial, course development, traveling from course to course, and participating. Things ran very smoothly, and we look forward to holding this trial again next year.
