It was a great weekend for the Indian Territory Bird Hunters Club annual spring trial hosted by NBHA Hall of Fame trainer, Tom Woods. This year's trial had 98 dogs entered that ran over the course of three days in nine different stakes--a lot of great dog work and some tough competition made for a great weekend. We also held a youth stake that was action-packed with great handling and enthusiasm.

A special thank you to Mickey Myers for allowing the use of his land and ranch and for keeping the tradition going. The first Jerry Myers Memorial Shooting Dog Stake was run in his father's honor. Jerry was instrumental in establishing walking field trials in Oklahoma. We also held the third annual Kurt Ochsner Memorial Shooting Dog stake, always thinking of Kurt and the part he played in field trials.

No trial is complete without the hard work and dedication of volunteers and judges.
