On November 24, the Pennsylvania Amateur Grouse Dog Club held its fall trial at the Beaver Valley Pointer and Setter Club. Thank you to Beaver Valley and its officers for their generosity in allowing us to use the grounds and their help with the trial. Thank you to Joe Cammisa and Rob Matson for judging the Amateur Shooting Dog stake, Ken Delong and Brian Ralph for judging the Amateur Derby, and Eric and Krysta Munden for judging the Amateur Puppy. The judges' decisions were all met with applause.

The day started with the Amateur Shooting Dog, followed by the Amateur Derby, and finishing with the Amateur Puppy. We had a great entry of 38 dogs to run, including 14 puppies! The shorter days of late November meant there wasn't much time to run all the braces, but everyone was ready when needed, and we finished with little daylight to spare.
Thank you to everyone who came out to participate and support the trial. We look forward to seeing you all in the spring!
