The following notice was submitted by Heather Klinck, Secretary for the National Open Shooting Dog Championship.

The 2023 National Open Shooting Dog Championship will begin Monday, January 30,
2023.

As per the Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors held on January 30, 2022, a placement in one of the following field trials will qualify a dog to run in the National Open Shooting Dog Championship. This placement must occur within the 24 months prior to the drawing of the 2023 Championship.

PLEASE NOTE: Essential Data Forms MUST be received by the National Open Shooting Dog Championship Secretary prior to the drawing for dogs to be eligible. It is the responsibility of the dog owners and handlers to ensure this information is received.Events listed should add "A Qualifying Trial for the National Open Shooting Dog Championship" in advertising.
