On Saturday, March 2, 2024, the Delaware Valley Bird Dog Club held its first trial. This trial was run on several locations through State Game Lands 280.
Handlers and dogs persisted through a consistent rain, slight wind, and temps from 40-50 degrees.
Throughout the day, eight woodcock were moved on four braces. All dogs and handlers competed in their braces until the judges' call of stoppage due to time.
We would like to thank all those who came and participated in this trial and assisted with the foundation of the trial, course development, traveling from course to course, and participating. Things kept running very smoothly, and we look forward to holding this trial again next year.
